Paper test, 20 cards

This page is kept as it was, on purpose. These 20 cards use the first rarity idea, where rarity was the observation count. Two astronomers showed that it runs backwards against physical abundance, and the method was replaced on 6 October 2026. The cards are left unchanged because they are what people were actually shown and asked about. The current version is here →

Every number on these cards was read from the JPL Small-Body Database on 1 October 2026. Nothing here is invented. Cards 1 to 15 are the rarity ladder, rarest first. Cards 16 to 20 are the controls: famous objects that are Common under this design precisely because humanity has looked at them thousands of times.

The orbit is stroked with one mark per observation, up to 140, after which the marks merge into a solid line. That is the rarity, drawn from the data rather than decorated on top of it.
